Polydryer EXTRA absorbent Zeolite Sieves
Testing with the Polydryer has been given to give that extra little gain in dropping the humidity, absorbs more moisture than the stock desiccant indicating silica.
Testing in Christchurch:
Normal orange silica beads: 14% humidify at lowest
3A Zeolite Molecular Sieve 3A: 10% humidity at its lowest
NOTE: Once humidity is reached, they sieves need to be re heated in an oven at 70deg for several hours to dry out and re use. They don't give you any indication on the colour and don't change with moisture.
120g Bags = 4 refills for each Polydryer container
These are the same medium that is used in the Drywise unit as its primary water absorbsion method.

Feature:
-
A molecular sieve is a material containing tiny pores of a precise and uniform size that is used as an adsorbent for gases.
-
The material traps the water and does not dissolve.
-
Used for absorbing water, for instance removing the water from alcohol or other solvents which cannot be removed by distillation.
-
Common applications include the dehydration of compressed air, natural gas, hydrogen, oxygen, solvents, refrigerants and argon purification.
